Hundreds gathered in Denver on Saturday, September 8th for the Climate, Jobs and Justice Summit – where 350 Colorado offered workshops focused on ways to defund the climate crisis, along with how to elevate climate justice in the upcoming elections.
On Saturday, September 8th, we are joining the Colorado Climate, Jobs and Justice Summit to show our elected leaders that we demand meaningful action on climate change. We will have breakout groups, an awesome panel of speakers and much more!
Colorado Rising submitted over 171,000 signatures for the “Safer Setbacks from Fracking” initiative to the Secretary of State Monday morning, far more than the threshold required to qualify for the ballot in November. This grassroots effort was led by more than 750 Colorado volunteers from across the state, including 350 Colorado volunteers and staff.
Concerned Coloradans and 350 Colorado members spoke out at today’s Colorado Oil and Gas Conservation Commission public hearing as the agency continues to give oil and gas permits closer to schools and neighborhoods.
