How the “Blue Ribbon Task Force” on oil and gas is failing CO’s people

Posted on behalf of Karen Dike, with Our Longmont…  The Blue Ribbon Panel on oil and gas has once again shown that the Governor’s approach to addressing the health concerns of citizens is a sham.  The latest example of this was the biased panel of state “experts” set up to discuss health concerns in Greeley.

I am a member of the organization 350, a national and  international movement addressing climate change.  350 is active and expanding locally, with thousands of supporters and activists in Colorado, including Ft Collins where I live.

“More than just clicking links:” 350 Fort Collins forms

350 Fort Collins got its start two Sundays ago, when a roomful of almost 40 activists from Larimer and Weld counties gathered at the Old Town Fort Collins Library. The group included Colorado State (CSU) and Front Range students and professors, artists, scientists, agriculture students, writers, fractivists, techies, faith leaders, renewable-energy advocates, high school students, and more.
