350 CO Participates in Air Quality Control Commission Rulemaking Resulting in New, Tighter Rules.
DENVER—WildEarth Guardians today applauded the Colorado Air Commission’s approval of new rules to rein in the fracking industry’s air pollution, but cautioned that much more aggressive action is needed to safeguard clean air, climate, and health from unchecked oil and gas extraction in the state.
“Today’s rules are a step forward, but to truly confront Colorado’s clean air and climate challenges, much more needs to be done,” said Jeremy Nichols, WildEarth Guardians’ Climate and Energy Program Director.
