350CO Statement at COGCC Hearing

By Julia Williams – July 23, 2017   The Colorado Tourism Office describes Colorado as a “year-round destination with unparalleled adventure and outdoor activities, a rich cultural heritage and a growing food scene.” Sounds like a pretty awesome place to live.   What it forgets to mention is the not so picturesque 129,000 oil and gas wells that fill the skyline.

2017 Climate Leadership Workshop June 3-4

Announcing 350CO’s 2017 Climate Leadership Workshop this June! The Workshop will be Sat., June 3rd from 9am-5pm and Sun., June 4th from 9am-4pm in Denver.  This will be a wonderful opportunity to:
  • Learn new leadership and organizer skills based on 350.org‘s excellent national workshop program,
  • Network with other 350 leaders from across Colorado
  • Experience a direct action training
  • Learn how to build or strengthen a local 350 team
  • Help to build a more powerful grassroots climate movement locally
