Patricia Garcia-Nelson was born and raised in Greeley, Colorado. She attended East Memorial Elementary before it became Bella Romero Academy, where her 7-year-old son is currently a student.  She moved to Louisiana in 2011 and returned in 2016 in hopes that her son would be able to grow up as she did in the foothills of Colorado.

We need to learn how to live with what we have and this is our chance to make the changes we need to also keep climate change at a bare minimum. By addressing these topics now, during this pandemic, it will have a ripple effect of creating a better world that we all want to live in.
