Welcome to our January 2023 Newsletter! On behalf of all of us at 350CO – Happy New Year!

 In this issue, celebrate highlights and outcomes of our efforts this past year and get ready to honor 350CO’s 10th anniversary this year! You’ll also learn about the recent Ozone State Implementation Plan and the work yet to be done to attain EPA health standards and hold oil and gas accountable for their share of the pollution. You’ll also read about key elements of effecting change.

350CO is Turning 10 in 2023! Here’s a Look at Our Journey Together

Over the last 10 years, 350 Colorado has grown to become Colorado’s largest grassroots movement dedicated to solving the climate crisis. Check out this timeline and celebrate some of our many accomplishments and honor the hard work of our staff, board, and volunteers! 


The Ozone State Implementation Hearings: Leadership that Failed To Go Far Enough 

Colorado continues to not meet EPA health standards and current rules fail to attain these standards. 350CO became a formal party to the ozone rulemaking and submitted prehearing and rebuttal statements, and mobilized public comment. Stronger measures addressing oil and gas pollution are still needed.


Five Key Elements of Effecting Change

A reflection on why we need to cultivate new ways of thinking, make time for reflection, and collaborate intensely in order to bring about transformation.
