Climate change is not a distant threat, it is HERE AND NOW, so we are taking action!
Thanks to everyone who’s already participated in the 5 ““Here & Now Tour: Building Local Resilience to Climate Disaster$” events that have already taken place. There are 2 more tour events planned, more in the works, and we’re here to help you, if you want to plan a tour event in your town!
Here’s why: Colorado is already facing worsening wildfires, floods, drought, and rising costs. A 2026 study by the Colorado Fiscal Institute shows that preparing for and responding to climate damages will cost Coloradans $1.5B on average per year moving forward through 2050. Taxpayers are footing the bill, but we can change that by making major polluters pay their fair share with policy solutions like a Climate Superfund, which we share more about at these events. We want to hear your ideas about local community climate adaptation and resilience needs, so please join in and invite friends!
Please mark your calendar and RSVP to attend an upcoming “Here & Now Tour: Building Local Resilience to Climate Disaster$” event near you!

Building Resilience Together: Thank You for Joining the Here & Now Tour!
Community members from across Colorado are coming together for the Here & Now Tour: Building Local Resilience to Climate Disaster$. From Boulder to Denver, Fort Collins, Colorado Springs, and the Roaring Fork Valley, these events create space for neighbors, advocates, local leaders, and climate-concerned residents to connect, share experiences, and discuss how we can build stronger, more resilient communities in the face of the climate crisis.
Thank you so much to everyone who has attended, volunteered, helped organize, donated, shared the events with friends, or supported the tour in any way or if you are planning to! These conversations are made possible by your participation and enthusiasm!
Thank You to Our Partners and Supporters!
We are deeply grateful to the many organizations that are helping to make the Here & Now Tour possible, including 350CO, Sierra Club, Third Act Colorado, Colorado Jewish Climate Action, Moms Clean Air Force, COPx, Extreme Weather Survivors, Climate Reality Project, The Alliance Center, Sunrise Denver, Fort Collins Sustainability Group, FoCo Trash Mob, Community for Sustainable Energy, and many other local partners. Additional co-hosts who wish to host listening tour events are welcome to join here!
We also want to thank Aspen One, Whole Foods, Ben & Jerry’s and other businesses and organizations donating food, beverages, ice cream, door prizes, event locations, and other support throughout the tour. Your generosity helps create welcoming spaces where people can learn and build community.
While several events have already passed, there are still opportunities to join the conversation.
- If you have additional thoughts to share and/or if you would like to encourage others in your network to share their ideas, here is a quick follow-up survey to help inform the Climate Superfund policy under development. We hope to hear from as many community members as possible to better reflect local voices, so please feel free to share the survey with your friends, family, coworkers, neighbors, or anyone else who may want to contribute their thoughts and experiences. We will send the ideas you shared last night and the survey results with our policy working group.
- Want to host your own Tour event in another location? Here’s an organizing toolkit for local leaders to use to organize the events.
Thank you!
