The program included a panel of youth activists, frontline community members and Indigenous leaders who spoke about issues like social justice, Womxn in the movement, and local climate impacts to communities.

Hundreds of participants, including panelists and speakers, wore painted red and black handprints over their mouths to continue to bring awareness to missing and murdered Indigenous, Black and Migrant Womxn and children.

We continued demand Gov. Polis end all fossil fuel expansion, including a rapid and equitable transition to 100% renewable energy, and that fossil fuel companies to be held responsible for the damage they have caused. See full demands here.

The strength of our climate strike coalition was put to work with just 72 hours to plan and organize Friday’s strike. As our community came together, we pulled off a miracle. We couldn’t have done it without our dedicated support, volunteers and partner organizations. Thank you to everyone who turned out and supported this event and so many of the actions over the past month!
