350 Colorado’s Climate Lobby Day is only 20 days away! Join us Thursday April 30th in Denver to make an impact at the Statehouse.

Location: We’ll be meeting at the First Baptist Church (across the street from Capitol) 1373 Grant Street in the Fellowship Room at 8:00 am for an overview and basic lobby training.

If you can’t make that, it’s fine to just show up at the Capitol throughout the day. You can text Ryan at 720-361-8441. For a more detailed schedule of the day visit our event page on Facebook or Evite.

Why: Often times, Legislators say they don’t hear from their constituents enough and certainly not often about climate change. We’ll be at the Colorado State Capitol sharing our climate testimonies with State Legislators. We’ll also be advocating for and against certain pieces of legislation regarding energy, climate and more.

Additionally, if you’ve never been to the Capitol or haven’t lobbied before, this is a great opportunity to learn the nuts and bolts of citizen lobbying. These are skills that you can continue to use as we advocate for strong climate change legislation on a local, state and federal level.

To better help us prepare, please fill out this quick RSVP form.
