On March 1st marchers set out from Los Angeles, CA, to walk nearly 3,000 miles across America to Washington, DC. This will be the largest coast-to-coast march in American history. The goal of the Great March for Climate Action is to change the heart and mind of America and its elected leaders to act NOW to address the climate crisis. We’ll post more details as they emerge.
The March will be in Colorado May 30 – June 30.

  • June 10th,TBA – Colorado Springs Rally
  • June 16th – Denver Climate March, Rally, and Celebration!
    • 9am-4pm – Join the Climate March from Littleton to Denver.  (We’ll share info on when and where to meet soon to participate in the march.)
    • 4:30-5:30pm – Rally at Capitol (Does your group want to table?  Contact chris@climatemarch.org to RSVP)
    • 5:30-6:30pm – March continues up 16th St. to EPA building for short rally for emissions standards at existing power plants and then to the Mercury Cafe
    • 6:30pm-8pm – @ the Mercury Cafe (2100 California St., Denver) –   vegetarian buffet ($10) and “World Cafe” discussions on how to work together more effectively on climate, clean energy and environmental justice issues in CO and beyond
    • 8-11pm – 350 Colorado March Party – upstairs at the Mercury Cafe – film screening (TBD) and music.  Donations ($10-20 suggested) at the door – funds raised that evening will support 350 Colorado and the Climate March.
